Engine application & fitment

Offered for Mercury Pro XS four-stroke applications. The Pro XS 200, 225, 250 and 300 HP V8 family uses a 4.6-liter four-stroke engine with an 85-amp charging system. These engine-family specifications alone do not establish compatibility with every engine.

Confirm fitment by engine serial number and original alternator part number before purchasing. Compare the mounting points, pulley and electrical connector with your original unit. Do not assume compatibility with two-stroke OptiMax Pro XS engines or other Pro XS horsepower ranges.
